Our family of 5 just got back from the weekend at Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando and it was the best weekend imaginable. Hard Rock lives up to a 5 star hotel in every way. There was not one person from the time that the valet took our car to the time that we signed out that was not totally professional, courteous, polite and very easy to talk to. Usually you find one of a staff not so pleasant but not here. One of the best perks is the fact that you get head of the line passes for Universal Studios and Islands of Advenutres. When we go back to Orlando I will not stay anywhere else as Im sure that this would be hard to top. Many places should take lessons on customer service from the Hard Rock Hotel and also the Hard Rock Cafe.

Very disappointed. We stayed @ Hard Rock for 5 nights during a 19 day trip to FL in May-June. Paid $* per night extra for pool view, no pool view. House keeping was horrible, requesting coffee creamers turned into 5 day ordeal. Only good point was the Express Pass to parks & being able to walk to Universal. Management just did not care, only wanted my money I guess.

Just had another stay at the Hard Rock. Best yet. Bed was much more comfortable than last stay. Stayed in a kids suite and it was huge. Space well worth the extra money. You can refuse the mini bar key upon check in. I recommend you do. Hotel is close to studios, but long trip to Islands of Adventure. The pool is awesome and fun for kids. Nice waterslide and poolside games. Service poolside for drinks was not great. Room service pizza was awesome. Everything is expensive. Expect it. Emack and Bolios ice cream is fabulous. Save money buy getting 3 scoops and sharing. The scoops are huge. The time you save not standing in line make avacation much better and well worth the cost. We never waited more than 5 minutes for the most popular rides. Best money saving tip I found, buy the souvenir mug and you can have it refilled with ice water for free. Saves you a fortune on bottled water and kids don't have to drink soda because the refills are cheap. We probably saved at least $* to $* a day because of the free ice water refills. Also, get the collectible mug at Hogsmeade and you will save on butterbeer refills. Internet tip, don't pay $* per day for internet access, it is free in the lobby and the staff is very helpful if you have a problem. Hard to find something free here, so make the most of free internet.

Being on property is the draw and they know it. Be prepared to be nickle and dimed to death. Cleanliness definetly not a priority here stairwells similar to those found in a subway system, carpeting needs replacement and furniture showing its age. Not what we expected at this price point. Too bad because the location is a real plus, the fast pass alone might be worth it. Oh yeah becareful walking to and from the park the bicycle rickshaws will run you down!

I have stayed at the Hard Rock many time and I enjoy it every time. I love the convience to the parks the best. The rooms are clean and have room to move. The pool can get a little loud but other than that it's great
